Privacy Policy

This policy explains how img2ppt, operated by Buzzinga Design LLP, handles your data when you use the service, currently offered as a free public beta.

1. What we collect

• Uploaded images: the image you submit for conversion.
• Job records: the generated .pptx output, processing logs, filename, timestamps, and the settings you chose.
• Account data: if you sign in to download a conversion, your email address, and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and Google account identifier. We do not store passwords; sign-in is via a one-time emailed link or Google.
• Feedback you send us: if you use "Send feedback" or "Report an issue", the message you wrote, the email address you gave us (if any), and the IP address it came from, so we can act on it, reply, and prevent abuse of the form.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and operations, and session cookies used to keep you signed in.
• Page-visit records: for each page you open we record the page, the time, the country your IP address resolves to, the network block it belongs to (for example 203.0.113.0/24, not the full address), the site or campaign link that referred you, your browser and device type, and your browser's language setting. This is how we understand where our visitors come from. We do this on our own servers: there is no third-party analytics service, no advertising network, and we set no advertising or analytics cookie and build no device fingerprint. We do not identify you personally from a visit; where you already have a sign-in session or an account with us, the visit is associated with it. Country is derived from your IP address using a local lookup table (IP Geolocation by DB-IP), and your address is not sent to any external service to do it. Visit records are deleted after 400 days.

2. How we use uploads

Uploaded images are processed only to generate the PowerPoint output you requested and to show you your job history. We do not use your images for advertising, and we do not sell your data. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content or of the generated output.

3. Third-party AI providers

To perform the conversion, uploaded images are processed by third-party AI services solely to provide the requested conversion. Depending on how the service is configured, that is OpenRouter (which routes the request to the model we select, currently one of OpenAI's), Anthropic, or Google. These providers process the image on our behalf as part of delivering the service and are subject to their own privacy and data-handling terms.

4. How long we keep your data

Job artifacts (your uploaded image, the generated .pptx, and preview) are deleted automatically:

• 30 days after a conversion you've downloaded finishes;
• 7 days after a conversion that finished but was never downloaded;
• 7 days after a conversion that errored;
• 7 days after an anonymous conversion that was never claimed by signing in.

You can also delete any finished conversion yourself, from the conversions table on the home page, without waiting for these periods. The uploaded image, the generated .pptx and the preview are removed from our servers at that moment, whether you were signed in or converting anonymously. There is no undo.

The job record itself (without the files, and with none of the image or slide content) is kept for metrics, abuse prevention and so that your credit balance stays consistent — a credit spent on a conversion you delete is not returned. If you delete your account, we remove your account and job records within 7 days, after a grace period during which signing back in cancels the deletion.

Feedback you send us is deleted 180 days after you send it, or with your account if you delete your account before then.

5. Your rights

You can delete any finished conversion yourself from the conversions table on the home page; see section 4 for what that removes.

You can request a copy of your account and job data, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing buzz@buzzinga.co from the address you signed up with. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

6. Security

Uploads are transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.
